Getting You Prepared for Your Upcoming Visit

We want your first experience here at Harper Dental to be such a positive one that you cannot wait for your next appointment. That said, there are a few important things we’d like all of our patients to know before their very first visit, to ensure that your visit goes smoothly for you as well as our staff. Of course, if you have any questions or concerns before you arrive, please call our office in Fort Smith; one of our team members can speak with you and make sure you’re confident and well-informed about what to expect and what’ll happen once you’re here.

Your First Visit

You’ll be warmly greeted by our team the very moment you arrive at our office, ensuring that you feel right at home from the get-go. If you haven’t completed your new patient paperwork in advance, you’ll be given the chance to; otherwise, after a brief wait in our reception area, you’ll be taken back to meet the dentists and team.

Your first visit is mostly focused on assessing your dental health and figuring out a game plan for not just treating any current dental issues but promoting excellent oral health moving forward. After chatting things over and examining your smile, we’ll turn things over to our hygiene team. Our findings during your first visit essentially set the tone for your treatment, and we’ll schedule any necessary follow-up visits before you leave. Otherwise, if your mouth is in great shape, we’ll see you again in six months!

Patient Forms

For your convenience, you can download and complete all of your new patient paperwork online, prior to your appointment. We kindly ask that all of our first-time patients do this; it helps to save a great deal of time once you’re here, so Dr. Harper and Dr. Cooper can spend more valuable time focusing on your dental health! We’ll also need to enter this information into our system so that we can begin keeping accurate tabs on your dental health, plan out future visits, and parse through other small details.

If you don’t have insurance, don’t worry – you aren’t entirely out of luck when it comes to making your dental treatment more affordable. Our practice is proudly partnered with CareCredit, a third-party financier who’s willing to work with qualifying patients to find budget-friendly solutions for their dental treatment. These plans are often low-to-no interest and have flexible payment windows, so please feel free to ask our staff if you have any questions about how to utilize this option.
